La Responsabilidad, significado e implicaciones éticas y jurídicas

RESUMEN: La responsabilidad es un valor ético y un concepto jurídico que se encuentra regulado por la Constitución y las leyes reglamentarias, en donde se establecen sanciones ante el incumplimiento de normas específicas.
La comprensión del concepto ético de “responsabilidad” fortalece el cumplimiento de las responsabilidades de los funcionarios públicos. Cuando no funciona el sistema de responsabilidades se debilita el Estado de Derecho, de ahí su importancia en la comprensión del concepto.

ABSTRACT: accountability Liability is an ethical value and a legal concept regulated by the Constitution and the statutory laws, where sanctions are established in case of the non-compliance of specific norms. Understanding the ethical concept of accountability strengthens the performance of public officers’ responsibilities. When the accountability system does not function properly, the State of law is weakened, and thus the importance of the concept’s comprehension arises.
